Download this plugin for gimp: BIMP. Batch Image Manipulation Plugin: http://registry.gimp.org/node/26259 -The plugin has a neat installer, install the plugin -Next, open gimp, open File menu and select "Batch Image Manipulation..." -Select your effects, select files or folders -Click apply! Note: the editor may not always overwrite files, create a new folder and select it as your output folder to be sure! Example usage: Cropping I have a lot of icon images which have borders around the actual icon. I wish to remove the borders. This is a lot of work to do by hand so we use the Batch Image Manipulation Plugin! -I open the Batch Image Manipulation Plugin from the File menu in Gimp -I click "Add" and select Crop -In the Crop tools properties I select "Manual Crop (pixel values)" and input 74 by 74 pixels (I measured this beforehand) -I leave the "Start from:" to it's default setting (it's Center by default) -Then I select my folder full of icons and click "Apply" -Success! The borders are gone and I have a set of nice icons
